  33.     Yes, free lunches are nice.  But it would be a WHOLE LOT BETTER if Bob 
  34. Hood made a good living from his efforts in creating BML, and thus was able to 
  35. continue to support, develop and extend the functionality of his product.

  37.     Your point is, I believe, another instance of "The Tragedy of the 
  38. Commons",  where advantage accrues to the individual, while penalty is spread 
  39. among the group.  TTOTC situations can exist temporarily, but they ALWAYS result 
  40. in the destruction of the given resource.

  42.     Your compromise (posting both) is probably the best one, getting people 
  43. hooked on the idea of tiny custom plugins, whetting their appetites.  But BML 
  44. is, IMO, reasonably priced, etc etc ya know what I mean.....>8^)

  46.     Best thing:  NewTek buys BML and includes it with every LWave.  After 
  47. all, that's what CBM did with AREXX, creating a minor revolution in user 
  48. customizability, the likes of which the computer world will probably not see for 
  49. decades due to a certain OS provider.....  (Not to mention Bob's off the hook 
  50. for marketing.)

  54.     Another way:  include REALLY obnoxious features and title bars in BML 
  55. compiled scripts:  to get rid of them, the user HAS to buy BML........hehehehe
